The Masked Singer season 12 is about to name its Group B finalist who’ll advance to the quarterfinals, but it won’t air tonight (October 30). Hosted by Nick Cannon, The Masked Singer season 12 features panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. Group A has already sent its finalists, Buffalos, to the quarterfinals, after Paula Cole (Ship), Marsai Martin (Woodpecker), Yvette Nicole Brown (Showbird), and John Elway (Leaf Sheep), were unmasked.
Now The Masked Singer season 12 Group B is ready to perform during their finals on ’60s Night. Andy Richter (Dust Bunny) and Laverne Cox (Chess Piece) have already been unmasked, but fans will have to wait another week to see if Bluebell, Goo, or Wasp advances to the next round after a double elimination. There’s also a chance that the panelists could use the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell to avoid the double elimination. Here’s why The Masked Singer isn’t airing, and when it will return.
Why Isn’t The Masked Singer Season 12 On Tonight?
FOX Is Airing A Special Event Instead
The Masked Singer season 12 isn’t airing on October 30 due to Game 5 of the World Series airing in its time slot. The New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers will face off again for the World Championship title. The Dodgers currently lead the series 3-1 over the Yankees. This is the first time this season that The Masked Singer schedule has been interrupted, and, hopefully, it’ll be the last.
When Does The Masked Singer Season 12 Return?
The Masked Singer Season 12 Group B Finals Will Be Delayed
The Masked Singer season 12 will return on November 6 with the Group B finals on ’60s Night. Bluebell, Goo, and Wasp will battle it out for a spot in the quarterfinals. However, it’s possible that two of them could advance if the panelists choose to ring the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell for one of them. After the November 6 episode, The Masked Singer season 12 Group C will premiere on November 13.
