We’ve probably seen a million different attempts at a Marlon Brando impression over the years. Some are good, and some are just painful. But it appears Billy Zane can do a pretty good one, as is seen in the trailer for the forthcoming film, “Waltzing with Brando.”

As seen in the trailer, “Waltzing with Brando” tells the story of a young architect who is hired by Marlon Brando to create the world’s first ecologically perfect hotel/retreat on an uninhabited island in Tahiti. If that sounds wild, then you’re on the right track. The film is anchored by Billy Zane doing his best Brando, and it works pretty well. With the prosthetics and the voice, he does actually sound and look like the iconic Hollywood figure.

The cast includes Billy Zane, Jon Heder, Richard Dreyfuss, and Tia Carrere. The film is directed by Bill Fishman. The film marks the first narrative feature for the director since 2003’s “My Dinner with Jimi.” Since then, he’s mainly done music videos.
“Waltzing with Brando” doesn’t have an official release date yet, but it is expected to arrive in 2025. You can watch the trailer below.
