For me on a personal level, passion for the French language and culture started in the early years of high school when I first saw a photo of Mont Saint Michel in our French textbook, and since then, I have never looked back! I acted on this passion at the age of 18 when, having failed first year at university, I purchased a one-way ticket to Paris, planning a stay of several months which developed into four years.
