Entourage creator Doug Ellin and his team just released the trailer for his new project, the TV Show Ramble On. It’s been a long-time coming, as the press release reiterates. “In 2022, the newly created independent entertainment company Angry Lunch announced the brand-new series, featuring the all-star cast of: Charlie Sheen, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Martin Sheen, Kimiko Glenn (Orange is the New Black), John C. McGinley (Scrubs), Jamie-Lynn Sigler (The Sopranos), Zulay Henao, Mark Cuban, James Hiroyuki Liao (The Dropout), Harvey Guillén (What We Do In The Shadows), Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), and Entourage alum, Emmanuelle Chriqui (Superman & Lois).
Described as a show about second-chances, the press release states:
Charlie Sheen, Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillon star as themselves in the scripted dramedy. Immersed in real life, Ramble On is about Hollywood veterans looking to reinvent their voices, alongside up and comers looking to establish their own.
Releasing the trailer is an unusual move, as Ramble On has yet to find a network or streamer to air and distribute the show. It’s a bold gamble, with Ellin still pitching the series’ pilot and likely hoping the reaction to the trailer will prompt a bidding war or at least motivate some company to pick up the show. On his podcast with Kevin Dillon and Kevin Connolly, Victory the Podcast, Ellin compared the current stage of Ramble On to what it was like when Entourage was in the exact same phase. The trailer was revealed on the podcast’s Instagram, which you can see below, and on its own website, The Ramble On Project.

The Surprises You’ll Find in Doug Ellin’s ‘Ramble On’ Trailer
“This idea had been spinning in my head for years and seeing it come to life is incredible,” said Doug Ellin, after wrapping up the pilot episode of Ramble On. “I feel beyond grateful that so many of my Entourage crew and cast members – along with some of the most talented, comedic forces in the industry – have joined us on this exciting new journey. We cannot wait to share this with the world.”
Until then, Ellin has shared the trailer to the world, and it’s full of surprises. His Entourage actors and podcast friends, Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillion, were to be expected, and there were already reports about Charlie Sheen being in the series, but we never would’ve thought his father, Martin Sheen, would be featured. Additionally, notable billionaire Mark Cuban is an odd surprise, as is the infinitely delightful Harvey Guillén, fresh off the final season of What We Do in the Shadows. It’s also great to see John C. McGinley, who was frequently the best part of Scrubs and made an intimidating impression in many films; hopefully, he becomes a main cast member of Ramble On. We’ll have to wait and see. Watch this space.
