LOVE Island Games spin-off WILL return for a second series.
The reality spin-off featuring an international cast of legends first aired in the US was an instant hit when it aired last November.
It has now been confirmed that the series has been commissioned for another series and will be returning to Peacock.
David George, CEO of ITV America, is said to be looking at expanding the franchise.
He told Deadline: “There are conversations around how we create the Love Island universe.
“That’s a very positive thing.
“Once you create a brand that has actual value, the sky’s the limit.
“The most important thing is to create brands that have value; it’s just a tremendous thing to be able to do and to be able to take advantage of.”
Maya Jama hosted the series, which kicked off on the US network Peacock on November 1, 2023.
The show then air at a later date on ITV2.
But it has not been confirmed if Maya will be returning to her hosting duties as of yet.
While narrator Iain Stirling is also not been confirmed either.
The Games featured a number of familiar faces from past UK versions – including Curtis Pritchard, Georgia Steel and Megan Barton Hanson.
Liberty Poole, Scott Van-der-sluis and Toby Aromolaran also took part in the series.
Joining the UK stars in the show were international Love Island stars Lisa Siden, Aurelia Lamprecht, Steph Blackos, Mitch Hibberd, Callum Hole, Tina Provis.
Plus Jess Losurdo, Johnny Middlebrooks, Ray Gantt, Kyra Green, Cely Vazquez, Carrington Rodriguez, Justine Ndiba, Courtney Boerner, Deb Chubb, Zeta Morrison and Imani Wheeler.
It featured stars from the various international editions of the show all living together in Fiji — with past villa legends from around the world taking part in the ultimate reality show.
Unlike the original format of the show, the stars had to compete in various challenges to win.
