Amazon sales of premium tablet with ‘superb battery life’ soar as it gets shock 48% price cut

AMAZON launched a wave of device deals, days ahead of the next Prime Day sale.

One of the best is on the Fire Max 11 tablet, whose sales have skyrocketed since it was reduced by 48% to £129.

Days before Prime Day, Amazon has slashed the cost of its premium Fire tablet by almost 50%

This 11-inch tablet is currently on Amazon’s Movers & Shakers list of best-selling devices.

Sales are reported to have soared by 345% in the past 24 hours.

No surprise, given that enormous price cut: this top-end tablet is now almost half-price.

That means it’s the cheapest it’s ever been – even more than last year’s Black Friday sale.

It’s one of many device deals that have appeared on the Amazon website this week.

The entire range of Fire tablets has been slashed, along with other gadgets like video doorbells, Echo speakers and Fire streaming sticks.

Amazon typically drops prices across its smart tech tech a few days in advance of Prime Day (8th-9th October).

Right now, these deals are open to everyone, not just Prime members. But that may change next week.

You can now pick up a Fire tablet for as little as £29.99, if you opt for the 7-inch model.

But the most exciting deal has to be on the premium, top-of-the-range Max 11.

Its 11-inch display makes it an ideal choice for streaming, or side-by-side tasks that feel too cramped on a smaller screen.

It’s also got more internal firepower than any other tablet in the range, with 4GB of RAM and a 2.2Ghz processor.

On a performance level, the Max 11 won’t compete with similar-size options from the likes of Apple.

But at the sale price of £129, it’s a real gem.

‘I was going to buy a Samsung tablet, but I didn’t want to spend too much,’ writes one shopper. ‘Then I saw this and thought I’d give it a go.

‘I’m so glad I did! It’s very responsive, the sound quality is good and the battery life is superb!’

‘A great little tablet for everyday use,’ says another buyer.

‘It’s not the most powerful tablet on the market, but it’s definitely got enough juice for streaming movies, browsing the web, and playing some light games.’
