Andy Cohen Says Bravo Is “Rebooting” ‘RHONJ’: “Maybe Just All Fresh Faces”

Andy Cohen just hinted that The Real Housewives of New Jersey will introduce a group of “fresh faces” when Bravo “reboots” the show for Season 15.

On this morning’s episode of Cohen’s Sirius XM radio show Andy Cohen Live, a fan called in to complain about RHONJ stars Margaret Josephs and Melissa Gorga‘s “boring” storylines, which she wanted the Real Housewives executive producer to “get rid of.”

“Well, I mean, have you heard that we’re gonna do big changes to the show?” Cohen replied.

But the fan — who hadn’t heard the news — continued to slam the two women, along with Rachel Fuda, for revolving their storylines around Teresa Giudice, whom she felt was “interesting to everybody.”

“She’ll always get herself in trouble. Teresa is always gonna find somebody or something, she’s like that,” the fan said, noting that the Gorga’s storyline was “so old.”

As Cohen seemingly grew increasingly annoyed by the fan’s criticisms, he chimed in to let her know that they are, in fact, “rebooting” the long-running reality series.

“Yes, we are rebooting the show,” he said. “We’re gonna reboot it. We’re gonna do something different.”

While the fan advocated for Giudice to remain on the series, Cohen remained tight-lipped about future casting— though he hinted that they are considering doing the same thing they did with The Real Housewives of New York City by replacing the entire cast.

“We’re gonna see what we do. We’ll see. I don’t know,” he said. “Maybe just all fresh faces. We’ll see.”

The show is no doubt in need of change-up as tensions have run so high that castmates, particularly Gorga and Giudice, refused to speak to one another throughout the entirety of filming for Season 14.

With a shortened season and no reunion, Gorga knew it was “realistic” to think that she might not be on the show moving forward.

“I do think the change kind of means that some people are gonna go — maybe everyone’s gonna go,” she said on Sunday night’s (July 28) episode of Watch What Happens Live. “I think we’re all just trying to do our best to figure out what’s gonna happen and realize that it is realistic that things might change.”

Andy Cohen Live airs every weekday at 10/9c on Sirius XM’s Radio Andy station.
