Media personality Andy Lee has revealed the hilarious reason why he will not be supporting Sydney Swans in the AFL Grand Final.
As the Swans prepare to face off against the Brisbane Lions, the podcaster will be cheering on the latter after learning of his fiance Rebecca Harding’s past “hook up” with one of the Swans stars.
Speaking on the B105 Breakfast with Stav, Abby and Matt, the Hamish & Andy star spilled the two reasons for his support.

“I’m going for the Lions because I like it when the team that knocked mine goes on to win it,” he said of the Lions victory over Carlton that took them to the grand final.
“It makes it feel like you came second.
“And the other reason is that Bec hooked up with Dane Rampe who plays for the Sydney Swans at schoolies,” he revealed.
“Although it was like 15 years ago, there’s got to be a natural vendetta against that Sydney back line.”

Lee, 42, and Harding announced their engagement in August after 10 years of dating.
The comedian announced the news on the Hamish & Andy show, with co-host Hamish Blake joking: “Is it a bit quick? That’s all I want to ask.”
Blake added, more seriously, that he and his wife had “cried” with happiness over the news.
Harding, 33, then posted a photo of herself wearing a diamond ring on Instagram, captioned: “People keep saying we’ve rushed into this, but we don’t care what people say!”
Lee famously met Harding in 2014 when she was working at a café, and he asked her out by writing his personal email on a napkin — a moment he recreated in his proposal as he knelt and presented her with another napkin.
“When I was down there, I stayed on one knee and I gave her another napkin — because when I first met her at the café, I wrote on a napkin my details — and I gave her another napkin,” Lee said.
This time the napkin read “Will you marry me?” and was accompanied by an engagement ring.
The couple first went public with their relationship at the 2015 Australian Open.
