At long last, there is football.
Not camps or scrimmages. Not realignment rumors or transfer portal declarations. No, the return of actual college football games has returned in the form of Week 0, a limited dress rehearsal for the season featuring games that matter.
No, this is not a full slate, but it doesn’t matter. We’ll take any and all games at the moment.
The return of college football also marks the official return of Locks of the Week, our weekly staple where we pick games against the spread all season. Results are tracked, winning picks are celebrated, and losing picks are mocked accordingly.
Regardless of how we do, we pick games every week until a national championship has been decided.
We normally pick anywhere from eight to 12 games. With few games to pick from, however, we’re making the most of what we have right now. Trust us, it’ll only escalate from this point forward.
With that, let’s kick off another season.
Welcome back, college football. We missed you.
