“I can feel when you’re watching me… I like it.” Focus Features has unveiled the official trailer for Black Bag, a brand new Steven Soderbergh movie ready for release in just a few onths. This means we’ll have two official Soderbergh movies dropping in theaters back-to-back in early 2025. Presence (which premiered at Sundance but hasn’t opened yet) arrives in January, Black Bag arrives in March 2025. Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender co-star in this gripping new spy drama about legendary intelligence agents George Woodhouse and his beloved wife Kathryn. When she is suspected of betraying the nation, George faces the ultimate test – loyalty to his marriage or his country. Those are the only plot details released so far – this was shot in London in the summer earlier this year. From another script by David Koepp, who also wrote Kimi and Presence. The main ensemble cast features Regé-Jean Page, Marisa Abela, Naomie Harris, Pierce Brosnan, and Tom Burke. Yep this looks damn good – another superb trailer. Though anything Soderbergh creates looks damn good. Curious to find out where this script will go & what the twists will be.
