Champions League live updates: Predictions and latest news ahead of Manchester City vs Inter and more

It feels fitting we should start our wrap of last night’s action with one of Schillaci’s former clubs, that being Juventus.

They made a breezy start too, putting PSV Eindhoven to the sword 3-1 in Turin — although the Dutch champions had their fare share of the ball and efforts on goal.

Kenan Yildiz and USMNT’s Weston McKinnie scored in six first-half minutes, with Nicolas Gonzalez making it three shortly after half-time; all before Ismael Saibari’s added-time consolation.

Here’s Juventus boss Thiago Motta, speaking to Sky Sport Italia:

💬 “It is a good way to start the competition, now we just have to keep it up and improve on a lot of things.

“We suffered a lot from PSV’s game, we are sure we can do better in terms of possession…To compete at this level against teams that like to play with the ball, you have to raise your level throughout the game, not just at certain times.

“I am happy with the result, it is very important for us.”

Next up for Juventus will be a trip to RB Leipzig, while PSV will host Sporting CP.
