A college hoopster in town for the NBA Draft were arrested early Saturday in Washington Heights after cops found a loaded gun in a car he was in, police sources said.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., police saw a black BMW X5 with tinted windows double parked at the northwest corner of Nagel Avenue and West 204th Street, authorities said.

Jeremiah Davenport, 25, a graduate senior guard for the University of Arkansas’ Razorbacks, and another man, 24, were in the car, police sources said.

As police conducted the car stop, they observed marijuana smoke coming from the vehicle, cops said.

Davenport couldn’t produce any identification when asked by police, who saw a firearm in plain sight behind the passenger seat, cops said.

Both of the men were arrested, although the second was cut loose after the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office declined to prosecute him, police sources said.

Davenport was slapped with charges including criminal possession of a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of an ammo feed device, and tinted windows, cops said.

He appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court Saturday, sporting a dark orange sweater with the phrase “selfish ways” written on it.

His legal aid lawyer, Russel Novack, told Judge Marva Brown “there were serious search issues” with the case.

Davenport was released on his own recognizance.

Davenport, who has no prior convictions, declined comment as he left court.

The Razorbacks guard was previous arrested on a misdemeanor charge in September in connection to a speeding ticket after turning himself into Fayetteville police, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
