The Indianapolis Colts were facing the reality that star wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. was not going to suit up in Week 6. Pittman was dealing with a significant back injury, which has healed up in a way that has now reversed his injury status.
According to Ian Rapoport, “#Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr., who is dealing with a painful back injury that appeared earlier in the week poised to keep him out for several weeks… is expected to be active today, source said. An amazing turnaround and good news for Indy.”
The Colts had initially thought that Pittman was going to be out for Week 6, but he might have been sidelined for weeks after being struck with this painful back injury. Now, that his health status has reversed, Pittman will be able to play.
The Colts are currently 2-3 and are looking to bounce back with a win. They will also have quarterback Anthony Richardson, and the offense could get cooking once again.
