Titled “Cleaner,” the film is written by Simon Uttley and sees Ridley play Joey Locke, an ex-soldier turned window cleaner tasked to save people held hostage by a radical group who threaten to blow up the 50-story building she is suspended in. Ray Fearon, Rufus Jones, Richard Hope, and Lee Boardman round up the supporting cast.
Ridley has experienced great success in her post- “Star Wars” career this year with the release of Disney’s “Young Woman and the Sea” and the independent films “Sometimes I Think About Dying” and “Magpie.” But this will be her first action-driven role since playing Rey in J.J. Abrams’s “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” Working with Campbell, who is mainly known for helming James Bond titles “GoldenEye” and “Casino Royale,” “Cleaner” definitely has the potential of being a kick-ass time at the movies.

Per an official press release, here is the plot synopsis:
Set in present-day London, a group of radical activists take over an energy company’s annual gala, seizing 300 hostages in order to expose the corruption of the hosts. Their just cause is hijacked by an extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world. It falls to an ex-soldier turned window cleaner, played by Ridley, suspended 50 stories up on the outside of the building to save those trapped inside, including her younger brother.
