Desperate search for Brisbane man Jackson Parker missing in Bali

A desperate search is underway for a young Brisbane man who disappeared while on holidays in Bali earlier this month.

Jackson Parker, 22, was reported missing when his family lost contact with him while he was in the travel hot spot.

He has not been seen or heard from since November 8.

Jackson’s family posted on a Facebook page for expats living in Bali, asking people to share any information they may have.

“We are trying to find a missing Australian (our son) and hope some of you can share this message and info with anyone in Bali in the tourist industry, hotels, bars, hostels, tourist operators, authorities — anyone you know,” they said.

“Jackson Parker is listed as missing since November 8 and his family are desperate to find him.”

Parker’s parents said local authorities have been alerted but “getting his information out there is important”.

“It’s extremely out of character for him to not be in contact,” they said.

Parker is described as being Caucasian with brown/blond hair, blue eyes and is about 177cm tall.

His father is reportedly flying to Bali on Wednesday to help search efforts.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has been contacted for comment.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact police.
