Reddit user Wide-Suggestion6524 shared a baby’s food-based name on the platform.

In the post, she shared a photo of the baby lying on a blanket with its name written on a sign near its head.

FOOD FUNNY

It was decorated in a style that was similar to the logo of an Italian-American restaurant chain.

The child’s name on the sign was Oliver Gardin, which was an apparent twist from the dining establishment Olive Garden.

“When you exactly know where the kid got conceived,” another Redditor remarked in the comments.

The last name was scratched out, so some Redditors assumed those were his first and middle names.

“In this case, it seems Gardin is the middle name,” one wrote.

She shared it in the Reddit group called Tragedeigh, which is a “given name that has been deliberately misspelled or completely made up to appear more unique than it actually is.”

She asked in the caption, “Is this a tragedeigh or just tragic?”

“At least they spelled Oliver right,” someone noted.

There were mixed opinions in the comment section.

“Not a tragedeigh, just a tragedy to combine those names, and then double down with the font and logo,” one Redditor wrote.

Another said it was “One of those ‘great name for a pet, tragic for a human’ kinda names.”

One wondered if he was named after his mother’s pregnancy craving.

“I’m actually kinda ok with this one. Hail corporate lol” someone else admitted.

JOVIAL JESTS

Other Redditors couldn’t help but poke fun at the situation with restaurant-themed jokes.

“And his sister, Ruby Tuesdeigh,” someone chimed in.

“His sister Wafl Haus,” another added.

“Did he come with a side of breadsticks?” a reader asked.

One Redditor user even commented a spin on the Olive Garden slogan saying, “When he’s here, he’s family.”
