Doug Emhoff, Carmelo Anthony watch USA basketball gold medal win

Celebrity row at Bercy Arena might rival celebrity row at Madison Square Garden.

Second gentleman Doug Emhoff was in Paris to take in Team USA’s gold medal win over France, seated right next to French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte.

So too were NBC host Jimmy Fallon, American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson, 1992 Dream Team member Scottie Pippen, former Knicks star Carmelo Anthony, former French point guard Tony Parker and former Lakers star Pau Gasol.

After taking in the USWNT’s gold medal-winning victory over Brazil earlier in the day, Megan Rapinoe and her fiancée, Sue Bird, managed to get to the basketball game as well.

The list of those in attendance also included Stephon Marbury — who sat with Anthony and Pippen — and Rapinoe’s former USWNT teammates Ali Krieger and Tobin Heath.

The hype around this final far exceeded that of previous gold medal games, in which the United States was a heavy favorite.

With a much tighter field in this year’s Olympics, Team USA getting pushed to the limit in the semifinal against Serbia and France playing in front of a home crowd in Paris, this year appeared to be far less of a foregone conclusion.

While the United States led for much of the game, France was hung around entering the fourth quarter and trailing by just six points.

But Steph Curry took over from there, hitting eight 3-pointers to seal the gold.
