Emergency AWPR road works to close southbound A90 at Tipperty

The A90 AWPR southbound carriageway between Tipperty, near Ellon and Newburgh is to close at 9.30am this morning for emergency road works.

A section of the Ellon to Aberdeen road between Tipperty and the B9000 Newburgh on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) southbound will be closed.

Traffic Scotland has shared a report from AWPR on X, formerly known as Twitter.

It reads: ” A90 Tipperty to Newburgh will have a closure on the southbound carriageway.

“It will be closed between the B9000 and Newburgh from 9.30am today for emergency surfacing works – until then, a lane one closure remains in place.”
