Euro 2024 Golden Boot tracker: Netherlands’ Cody Gakpo the new favorite

The goals came flooding out of the gate early on at the 2024 UEFA European Championship, with a record-breaking 16 goals in the first four matches.

While things have settled down a bit since then, there have still been a host of great strikes throughout this tournament.

A popular prop bet during this event is predicting the winner of the Golden Boot, which is the award given to the player who scores the most goals in the tournament. Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo won the Golden Boot in 2020 with five goals. Patrik Schick of the Czech Republic also scored five goals, but Ronaldo had an assist, which is the first tiebreaker — followed by the fewest minutes played — for the highly coveted award.
