Existing customer offers benefit punters again at weekend

The eventful past weekend in the Premier League was made all the better by lots of goals going in across the country.

Matchday 7 provided plenty of thrilling contests. Here we take a look at how some of the best existing customer offers helped punters over the 10-fixture programme.

Sky Bet Acca Freeze delivers

Some teams with big prices took the lead in top-flight games, showcasing a phenomenal weekend for Sky Bet’s Acca Freeze offer.

On Saturday, Arsenal were entertaining Southampton at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners, so far unbeaten, went into the match as heavy favourites for a victory against the winless Saints.

However, it did not all go to plan for the title-chasing hosts. Their visitors, languishing in the relegation zone, actually took the lead after 55 minutes through a well-taken Cameron Archer goal.

Sky Bet gives customers an opportunity to freeze one selection of an accumulator of five selections or more, and you could have done this with Southampton, who were around 14/1.

There were other options in the Premier League last weekend, with Fulham 9/1 at Manchester City – the Londoners did go in front – while Nottingham Forest (5/1) went ahead away to Chelsea.

In the end, none of these three underdog teams won their games, so they would have been perfect selections for an Acca Freeze.

Early payout gets Spurs over the line

This type of offer pays customers out should the team they back go two goals ahead. Early payout came good on Sunday with Brighton & Hove Albion’s massive clash against Tottenham Hotspur at the Amex Stadium.

This fixture was a great example of what can be a fantastic betting offer. The visitors scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 lead, and punts were paid out on Spurs as victors with lots of the big bookmakers, including bet365 and BoyleSports.

Tottenham’s price of 6/5 was then awarded as a win. What followed after the interval highlighted why early payout continues to be one of the best betting offers.

The Seagulls, much better in the second half, scored three goals without conceding again, so went on to a 3-2 victory.

That turnaround would have been of no concern for early-payout punters who had backed Spurs. Those bettors had already been paid out because of the visitors’ two-goal lead.
