First Look Featurette for ‘Until Dawn’ – Creepy Time Loop Horror Film

“Things start over… and they get to try again.” They just need to survive… until dawn. Sony Pictures has revealed a first look featurette for the upcoming horror movie called Until Dawn, which is indeed based on the Playstation video game of the same name. This time loop killer horror movie is set for release in April this spring, and they’re beginning the promo campaign by setting up the concept. It’s directed by filmmaker David F. Sandberg, who is getting back into horror after making the two Shazam! movies – he launched his career with Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation anyway. A group of friends finds themselves stalked by a masked killer & horrifically murdered one by one in a lodge… only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Now trapped in this remote valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again & again – only each time the killer threat is different (a different horror genre each time). “Same night, different nightmare.” Starring Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, Belmont Cameli, Maia Mitchell, and Peter Stormare. This looks cool so far – another new horror movie remix.

One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished seeking answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer & horrifically murdered one by one… only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Sandberg, of the films Lights Out, Annabelle: Creation, Shazam! & Shazam! Fury of the Gods, plus tons of other shorts. The script is written by Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman. Based on the PlayStation Studios video game of the same name. It’s produced by Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, David F. Sandberg, Lotta Losten, Roy Lee, Gary Dauberman, and Mia Maniscalco.
