Florida police investigating train collision with fire rescue vehicle

Police are investigating a train accident that occurred Saturday in Delray Beach, Florida.

NBC affiliate WPTV of West Palm Beach reported that the accident involved a Brightline train and a Delray Beach Fire Rescue truck near the intersection of East Atlantic Avenue and SE 1st Avenue in Delray Beach.

Three firefighters were injured and hospitalized, the news station reported. Some train passengers suffered minor injuries.

Images posted on social media showed what appeared to be a mangled firetruck.

Brightline said in a post on X that it was experiencing delays.
