A fuel tanker has crashed in outback Queensland, sparking an emergency response that has closed the highway.
The truck rolled on the Flinders Hwy at Pentland, west of Charters Towers in the state’s north, about 9am on Friday.
Police, paramedics and fire crews are at the site, however no one is believed to have been injured, including the truck driver who has declined to be taken to hospital.
An emergency zone to protect the public’s safety has been declared over a 2km-radius of land around the crash site.
