“We’re compromised.” Netflix has launched the full official trailer for the movie Back in Action, another “what if they were once spies” action comedy movie comedy to streaming on Netflix. It’s ready to watch in a few weeks as a January drop on Netflix. Meh. The shoot had many issues, including medical emergencies on set, Jamie Foxx’s hospitalization, and more. Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily and Matt – starring Cameron Diaz & Jamie Foxx – are dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown. This sounds like so many other movies before. Diaz previously acted alongside Foxx in the 1999 sports drama Any Given Sunday and once again in 2014 in the remake of Annie. Ironically, Annie was the last film Diaz acted in before announcing her retirement in 2018. This also stars Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts, Rylan Jackson, Glenn Close. Nah this still looks really bad. It’s an easy January skip – just wait to watch any other better action movies later this year.
