“The only thing here for you is death.” “Then let it claim me!” Netflix has debuted the main official trailer for the animated series Twilight of the Gods, the latest Zack Snyder creation for Netflix. This finally drops on Netflix in a few weeks. Inspired by Norse mythology, the Twilight of the Gods refers events that led to the destruction of Midgard and Asgard, then the death of most of the Æsir and Vanir gods in an ultimate battle against evil, the forces of nature and the Giants. From Stone Quarry Animation working with Xilam Animation. Set in a mythical world of great battles, great deeds and great despair, comes this story of one woman fighting back against the Gods. This series brings Snyder’s “daring & spectacular vision” of ancient Norse mythology to life on screen. Featuring the voices of Sylvia Hoeks, Stuart Martin, Pilou Asbaek, John Noble, Paterson Joseph, Rahul Kohli, Jamie Clayton, Peter Stormare, Kristopher Hivju, Jamie Chung, Lauren Cohan, & Corey Stoll. Snyder adds: “My imagination was always really sparked by the Norse gods – Thor, Odin, an adventure story about love & redemption & revenge set in this amazing landscape.
