How To Unlock M3GAN In Funko Fusion

Though horror cameos are plentiful in Funko Fusion, some of these character Cameos require specific quests to unlock them, including the murderous robot icon M3GAN. While M3GAN does not have her own world for players to visit, she can still be found in various other worlds and is unlocked as a playable character.

Specifically, players must unlock her Cameo Quest by tracking her down in one of Funko Fusion‘s many horror worlds, The Thing. Unlike some of the other Cameo Quests, M3GAN doesn’t need your help completing simple tasks in the various worlds. Instead, you’ll need to travel to these other worlds to stop her from invading them.

How To Unlock M3GAN in Funko Fusion

Find & Fight M3GAN In Other Funko Fusion Levels

To initially find M3GAN, you’ll need to make enough progress to complete the boss fight in The Thing level 2. Afterward, go up the watch tower stairs until you find the purple chest containing M3GAN’s Cameo Card. The chest is encased in ice, so you will need to melt it before you can open it. After you have the Cameo Quest key card, please take it to the Card Reader, as seen in Jun Guide’s YouTube video.

In The Thing World, you can also find the door to the
Shaun of the Dead
secret Cameo Level. However, you must have completed the first level of
Scott Pilgrim vs The World
and
Battlestar Galactica
to open that door.

To find the Card Reader, head back down the stairs of the watchtower and to the far left side of the open area. If you’re having trouble tracking down the card reader, follow the icon on your screen. After picking up the Key Card, you should see a keyhole icon on your screen indicating the location of the Key Card reader. Once you’ve found the door, swipe your card and head inside.

You should see a keypad on the wall next to a door leading to the room that you can see through the glass window. Use it to open the door and enter the room, where you’ll find M3GAN sitting on the floor. Be warned that immediately after you speak with her, the boss fight will initiate, and you will need to fight her. So, it is highly recommended that you use the Character Swap point outside the room before heading in to make sure you’re prepared.

Since you can complete Cameo Quests whenever you choose,
it may be more beneficial to unlock the first encounter with as many as you can from the start
. Many of them appear in the same worlds, which will allow you to minimize the times you have to re-do things since you’ll be able to do everything on your first or second go around.

As you continue to do damage, you will see her begin to explode and short circuit. Once she starts crawling, you are nearly done with this first fight. Once she’s given up, she will have an icon indicating you can speak with her, and she will commend you for trying to defeat her and promise to see you again in the other worlds of Funko Fusion. At this point, you can find and fight M3GAN in six other worlds.

Once you’ve found and defeated M3GAN in all six levels, you can unlock her as a playable character. Since it does not matter which order you complete these in, you will unlock her at the end of whichever one is your sixth encounter. Once she’s unlocked, you will find her in the Funko Fusion section, where her Cameo Character was initially unlocked, which, in this case, would be The Thing.
