Following Peacock’s deep dive into embattled rap powerhouse Sean “Diddy” Combs, a new docuseries will further examine the controversial producer’s downfall through interviews with former friends, colleagues and others in his orbit.
Investigation Discovery will debut The Fall of Diddy, a four-part documentary from the same producers behind Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV and Rolling Stone Films. Per the synopsis, the special will feature “exclusive, never-before-heard accounts and never-before-seen archival footage, offering personal insights into harrowing allegations of violent behavior and illegal activity that have shadowed the music mogul.”

The Fall of Diddy will also focus on Combs’ rise in the music industry as an up-and-coming creative and his founding of Bad Boy Entertainment, to his infamous “white parties” and the 2023 lawsuit filed by ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura. Combs was arrested in September 2024 on sex trafficking and racketeering charges and is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial.
“There’s a lot of people like Puffy in this music business. Exposing Puffy means exposing them,” Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a former producer for Bad Boy Records, says during an interview for the series. The Fall of Diddy also includes interviews with former Vibe editor-in-chief Danyel Smith, journalist Mara S. Campo, accuser Thalia Graves, former bodyguard Roger Bonds, actress and model Kat Pasions and others.
