Hysterics Over How Yorkie Treats Owner Every Time He Visits Grandma’s House

Not concerned about his owner’s feelings, one dog made it loud and clear who his favorite was when they got to Grandma’s house.

In a September 22 Instagram video posted by user @muffpuff_, the owner and her Yorkshire terrier were at the grandmother’s house. Grandma was holding the dog but let him go as his owner, Lauren, sat beside them, greeting her dog.

Lauren held out her arms, hoping to get some attention from her Yorkie. Then she quickly remembered she was at Grandma’s house, and that means she’s “invisible” to him.

Her dog bolted right past her arms and went straight into the crate. If he wasn’t in his grandma’s arms, he wanted to be comfy and cozy in his crate, which was packed with blankets and toys.

Lauren’s jaw dropped. She followed his movements with her arms, hoping he would see her and come running back, but he was in his own world and wanted nothing to do with her.

The caption jokingly reads: “The adoption papers are getting drafted as we speak.”

After a quick pit stop in his crate, he came running back toward them, but it seemed as if he was going toward Grandma instead of Lauren. The video cut short before he reached his destination.

Luckily, Lauren is seen laughing it off in the clip. She’s used to him showing favoritism toward Grandma, especially when they are at her house. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t sting. She wrote in the comments section: “Girl, he hurt my little feelings.”

The clip has over 2.5 million views and 18,286 likes on Instagram, and viewers couldn’t get over the dog completely ignoring his owner and making Grandma his top priority.

“The way he ran around your hand,” one viewer pointed out. He took a hard left to dodge her grasp.

“We know who gives him table food,” joked a second person. It isn’t just table food he gets spoiled with while at Grandma’s. A more recent clip revealed that Grandma won’t stop buying him toys either.

Someone wrote: “I heard the Yorkie [say] ‘Girl bye’ all the way from here.”

Another asked: “Do you need a notary to sign them papers because he gotta go.”
