  • Football: India remained in their lowly 124-ranked position in the FIFA Men’s Rankings, with no change in the latest rankings released yesterday.

  • Football: Odisha FC were drawn with Jordanian and Singaporean opponents in the preliminary round of the AFC Women’s Champions League.

  • Motorsports: Kavin Quintal to be first Indian rider to compete at World Superbike Championships.

  • Tennis: Olympic-bound Indians Sumin Nagal and the men’s doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and N Sriram Balaji suffered losses in the lead-up to Paris 2024.

  • Golf: Shubhankar Sharma opened his campaign at the 152nd Open with a disastrous five-over 76.
