Larsa Pippen Calls House of Villains Her ‘Best Decision’ After Split

There’s a surprise guest in the House of Villains mansion — and it’s Larsa Pippen.

“Girl’s always gotta make an entrance. That was the entrance that I really loved,” she told Us Weekly exclusively about joining the show at the end of episode two on Thursday, October 17. “I didn’t want to be like the rest. I really wanted to come in, you know, via the wall.”

Before her iconic entrance, the Real Housewives of Miami star was “upside down” for a while.

“At some point I was like, ‘Oh my God, how long am I going to be hanging here,’” she joked, but it was “fun” for her to join the cast — and do the challenges.

“I just wish they would implement doors in the room that would make me happy,” Pippen quipped.

Despite being on a show titled House of Villains, Pippen told Us that she does not consider herself to be in the “villain” category.

“I don’t choose to [be], but if you put me in a situation, then I’m OK,” she “I don’t think of myself as a villain, but I know that my words can be cutting.”

Pippen has no regrets about any way she’s acted on reality TV thus far.

“I mean, it works for me. It’s worked for me this long,” she added. “So why change now?”

Pippen told Us that joining the E! show ended up being “the best decision I ever made” following her March breakup from Marcus Jordan.

“Being so immersed in the house and all these different people and different personalities. I didn’t have time to think about anyone or anything,” she recalled, telling Us that cooking and completing the challenges were what she focused on. “That’s pretty time consuming.”

Joining House of Villains put Pippen in the house with an iconic cast of reality stars, including Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, Flavor of Love alum Tiffany “New York” Pollard and The Bachelor alum Victoria Lawson, among others.

Not all Real Housewives franchises are made to last — or are they? After launching shows in Orange County, New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Washington, D.C. and Beverly Hills, Bravo created the Real Housewives of Miami. Pollard was one of the cast members that Pippen was most excited to see.

“I’ve watched so many shows that she’s been on, so I know she’s like a TV legend,” the RHOM star gushed to Us. “My idea of her, basically, was who she is.”

Pippen decided that staying “under the radar” was her strategy when joining the show.

“I didn’t want to take a ton of designer clothing. I really wanted to blend in as best as I could,” she explained to Us. “I wasn’t sure who would be there, what they would come with. So, I just wanted to bring clothes that were super comfortable.”

Because they film in one location for the series, Pippen traded in her Housewives attire for athleisure the “entire time” she was in the house.

“I just wanted to blend in and make everyone like me,” she continued. “That was kind of the goal.”

House of Villains airs Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT on E! and the first two episodes are available to stream on Peacock.
