Livvy Dunne picked a wondrous costume for Halloween.
On Thursday, October 31, the influencer posted an Instagram carousel for her 5.3 million followers, showcasing her heroic costume. The 22-year-old Louisiana State University gymnast dressed as Wonder Woman — the iconic superheroine from DC comics.
Dunne’s look consisted of red over-the-knee boots, a red corset top, and blue shorts decorated with stars. The Sports Illustrated swimsuitmodel stayed true to the character’s look, even donning Wonder Woman’s accessories — a golden tiara with a red star in the middle and arm cuffs formally known as “bracelets of submission.”
In the cover shot, Dunne showcased her gold cuff and smirked at the camera. In the second picture, she held one of her arms up and flexed her biceps. The NCAA champion smiled and leaned into the camera for the last snap. The photos were seemingly taken in the back of a car on campus, as the gymnastics superstar tagged LSU as her location.
Dunne referenced the 2017 film Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot, in the caption of her post, writing, “I compel you to tell me the truth, and nothing but the truth😼.” In the film, Wonder Woman ties a magical lasso of truth around someone to get them to be honest.
The NIL athlete’s friends and followers took to the comments section to rave about her epic costume.
TikTok star Alix Earle commented, “Wowwww.”
Dunne’s LSU teammate Lexi Zeiss commented, “OKAY LIV🔥.”
“I wouldn’t be upset if you saved me,” hockey player and social media personality Gabi Gibson wrote with a heart-eye emoji.
Golfer and influencer Katie Sigmond dropped a comment writing “okay wow,” with the fire emoji.
While Dunne did not post any pictures on Halloween with her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, she dropped a post on Instagram last week with the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher. Dunne posted a slew of photos from the couple’s vacation to Jupiter, Florida, including a snap of Skenes, 22, holding her in his arms in front of a private plane.
