MADONNA has broken her silence with a touching tribute after the death of her brother Christopher Ciccone.
The music icon posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram alongside a number of pictures of the siblings together.
Christopher died on October 4 after a battle with cancer with touching tributes pouring in since it was announced.
Madonna has finally spoken on her brother’s tragic death after she posted a collection of 16 posts online.
The pictures included snaps of the pair together at various events throughout the years as well as some personal memories the two shared.
A heartfelt caption read: “My brother Christopher is gone. He was the closest human to me for so long.
“Its hard to explain our bond but it grew out of an understanding that we were different and society was going to give us a hard time for not following the status quo.
“We took each other‘s hands and we danced through the madness of our childhood.
“In fact dance was a kind of superglue that held us together.”
In 2017, Christopher did an exclusive interview with The Sun and accused the pop queen of blacklisting him in Hollywood — and says he could have written another tell-all book about just how “horrific” she is.
He said: “I could have written that book, the book about how horrifying she is or can be, but I didn’t write that book.
“I was just looking for a little recognition for the work I’ve done for 20 years with her, that it wasn’t one person.”
