Shoppers after last-minute Christmas gifts can place orders as late at December 22 with one of Australia’s largest online retailers.
Shoppers in certain metropolitan and regional areas who are Amazon Prime customers will be able to order select items as late as December 22 and get free delivery.
Customers who are not Prime customers can order as late as December 20 to have their delivery arrive in time for the big day, or they can select a paid shipping option for faster delivery where available.
Amazon Australia country manager Janet Menzies said the dates aimed to allow Aussies to “enjoy the magic without the stress” during the holiday period.
“Fast and reliable delivery across a wide selection of products remains the cornerstone of our customer offering and an enduring priority for us,” Menzies said.
“We have been investing in our operational network across Australia, so that customers can rely on faster, seamless and reliable delivery during the holidays and beyond.”

The e-commerce giant has also extended its returns window for the remainder of the year, with most items purchased between November 1 and December 31 able to be returned until January 31, 2025.
Estimated cutoff dates vary depending on the item, shipping location and Amazon Australia’s network capacity, with expected delivery dates shown at checkout.
An Amazon Prime membership costs $9.90 a month, or $79 annually and includes other benefits including Prime Video.
New members can access a 30-day free trial.
