Manchester United are reportedly closing in on the signing of Bologna and Netherlands forward Joshua Zirkzee.
Zirkzee caught the eye as he scored 12 goals in all competitions last season, while proving his link up play was also of a high standard as he provided seven assists.
The Old Trafford club moved ahead of the competition for the signing of the highly-rated 23-year-old, who got his first taste of action in Euro 2024 in the Netherlands’ quarter-final win over Turkey.
According to The Athletic, United have agreed personal terms with forward, whose contract incudes a £4million release clause. However, the outlet report that the club’s potential cashflow issues could be an issue with the clause needing to be paid in full.
