The teenager accused of being behind the wheel of the stolen BMW when it hit and killed Pollina was granted bail last week.
Pollina’s family expressed their dismay, just days after parliament voted to strengthen bail laws and crack down on young offenders.

Pollina will be cremated and his ashes taken back home to Italy.
The teenager will face a children’s court next month.
