“Showcasing the colorful life of the acclaimed director…” It’s not often we post trailer for books, but this one is about the filmmaking legend named Francis Ford Coppola, so we can’t not feature it. (Especially considering he has his new film Megalopolis out this year.) Based on the lives and films of acclaimed cinema icons, this book focuses on the legendary Coppola of The Godfather & Apocalypse Now fame. Following the story of the man behind the movie, Don Coppola shows the insight behind the critically acclaimed director and it also takes a look at both the impact of his movies and his life from a cinematic narrative. Created and illustrated by Amazing Ameziane, Don Coppola is the second installment in the author’s Cine Trilogy books, illustrating the behind-the-scenes stories of some of Hollywood’s biggest hits. Reviews say that it “not only celebrates Coppola’s contributions to cinema but also explores the profound influence his work has had on both the industry and audiences worldwide.” It’s not trying to riff on FFC, mainly a biopic book. Take a look.
