Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes are navigating a long-distance relationship, but luckily for the LSU gymnast, her boyfriend is happy to spend big so that they can see each other.
Dunne remained in Baton Rouge for a fifth and final season of college athletics, while Skenes is based in Pittsburgh after being drafted by the MLB’s Pirates.
And with Dunne’s busy schedule not affording her much time to watch his games in person, she revealed on the ‘Best of Both Worlds’ podcast with fellow Tiger Flau’jae Johnson that Skenes will sometimes charter her private planes.
‘Being at school, I’m busy, and I don’t really have time to go on connecting flights and spend a whole day traveling,’ Dunne said.
‘So Paul will sometimes provide an easier way of getting from point A to point B for me, which I’m grateful for.’

Dunne revealed that Skenes will splurge on private planes for her so she can see his games
Dunne previously posted a TikTok which showed her and Skenes aboard a private jet on the way to the MLB All-Star Game, which the pitcher impressively made as a rookie.
Dunne told Johnson that that occasion was her first time on a private jet.
‘You can’t just leave whenever you want, especially when you’re in preseason,’ Dunne said, further explaining the benefits of private travel.
Johnson was impressed by Skenes’ initiative, and she and Dunne both proclaimed ‘If he wanted to, he would’ at the end of the clip.
While chartering a private plane is financially unfeasible for most people, Skenes is of course making good money in the MLB.

He signed a one-year, $740,000 deal with the Pirates last year, though he’s surely earned himself a significant raise with his strong play this season.
The admission from Dunne comes as she and her LSU gymnastics teammates were gifted their championship rings from last season.
She showed off her jewelry Friday night on her Instagram story, captioning the post ‘RING SZN’ to her 5.3million Instagram followers.
A cheerful Dunne posted a picture with rings on both of her fingers, and also shared a video showing off her new custom ring, which had her last name on it as well as ‘LSU’ with the school’s purple and gold color scheme.
