Organic frozen meal delivery service The Sweet Potato Kitchen is slashing its prices for Afterpay Day.

The Sweet Potato Kitchen has a strong focus in on “food as medicine”. and the brand specialises in dishes that hero organic produce and warming anti-inflammatory ingredients.

The founder Emmy, was inspired to start The Sweet Potato Kitchen by the love and connection formed over years of sitting around the family dinner table, coupled with a personal journey of healing through food.

The Sweet Potato Kitchen delivers every Friday, up to 40km from Melbourne CBD, and all their meals come in eco-friendly insulated boxes to keep everything frozen for your convenience.

What’s even better is that all of their meal packaging is designed to go straight from the freezer to the oven or microwave then to the table — so there is no washing up required.

If you prefer to pick up your meals, you can also find The Sweet Potato Kitchen at Alphington Farmers’ Market on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.

The Sweet Potato Kitchen caters to everyone, their meals are gut-friendly and 100 per cent gluten free, dairy-free, refined sugar free and GMO free.

They also cater to vegan and paleo diets.

Think paleo lasagne, sweet potato stew, barramundi green curry, shepherd’s pie and cookie dough bliss balls.

The founder, Emmy, was inspired to start The Sweet Potato Kitchen by the love and connection formed over years of sitting around the family dinner table, coupled with a personal journey of healing through food.

Emmy says: “I’ve been obsessed with everything yum since I could chew. Because of my food sensitivities, I couldn’t get my everyday meals from just anywhere”.

She adds: “I was spending every Sunday shopping and prepping food, while also working full time. It felt like too much. I wished I could just buy what I was making, YUM organic ready-made meals that were cosy and nourishing like home-cooked food.”

“So, I sourced the most beautiful produce I could find and experimented to design a menu combining treasured family recipes with a focus on anti-inflammatory ingredients for vitality and gut support.

“From this place I started The Sweet Potato Kitchen.”
