Playoff bracket finalized at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade

BetBoom Team finished atop Group A courtesy of a tiebreaker win by Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov on Tuesday as the playoff bracket was finalized for the Betboom Dacha Belgrade event in Serbia.

Russia’s Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov defeated Tundra Esports’ Artem “lorenof” Melnick of Ukraine 1-0 in 15 minutes and 16 seconds.

Another tiebreaker settled third place in Group A on Tuesday. Zhou “Emo” Yi of China gave the nod to Yakult’s Brothers with a 1-0 win in 6 minutes and 30 seconds against Team Liquid’s Michal “Nisha” Jankowski of Poland.

The $1 million Dota 2 event began with 12 teams divided into two groups for round-robin play. Group matches are all two maps. The top four teams from each group advance to the double-elimination playoffs, which begin Wednesday. The bottom two teams in each group were eliminated.

Playoff matches will be best-of-three until the grand final on Saturday, which will be best-of-five. The champion will pocket $400,000, and the runner-up will get $200,000.
