FREDDIE Brazier has left fans of Celebrity Race Across The World in tears after talking about his mum Jade Goody’s death.
The 19-year-old opened up about the struggles he faced with his TV star dad Jeff Brazier following Jade’s tragic passing.
Freddie was just four years old when Jade died from cervical cancer and he and brother Bobby, who was five at the time, were raised single-handedly by their father.
But speaking on the BBC’s Celebrity Race Across The World, the teenager admitted he ‘pushed away’ Jeff in the years that followed.
Freddie told the cameras: “At the time I lost my mum, dad had to push his feelings and all of that aside to be there for me and my brother.
“And at times where I’ve pushed him away, he’s pulled even harder to bring me back in.”

The teen spoke after spending an idyllic day with Jeff looking after some alpacas in exchange for cash for their journey.
He added: “I have not been that close with him for a long time now. But I actually love being around him.
“I don’t think I praise my dad enough or thank him enough for everything he’s done for me. I should… he knows the love but I don’t tell him enough.”
Fans were so touched by Freddie’s comments about his dad that they found themselves wiping away tears.
Writing on X, one said: “Crying at Jeff and Freddie Brazier is now a weekly routine, Wednesdays at 9:30pm apparently.”
Another added: “So invested in Freddie and Jeff. What a lovely relationship. I’m going to cry a few more times this series I can tell.”
And someone else admitted: “Jeff and Freddie are absolutely killing me. I can’t deal with how beautiful their relationship is.”
Jeff began dating Big Brother star Jade Goody in 2002 and they welcomed their first child, Bobby, a year later.
The following year Jade gave birth to Freddie, however she and Jeff broke up soon after.
In 2008, Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She lived out her illness in the public eye to raise awareness before tragically passing away in March 2009.
Jeff has dedicated his life to raising their two boys and thanks the experience of Race Across The World for bringing him even closer to his youngest son.
During Wednesday night’s episode, he also spoke about the aftermath of Jade’s death and became tearful.
With his voice breaking, Jeff said: “It’s hard to switch off and I’m being too serious. It’s just everything is about responsibility and it’s what it’s been for a long time.
“I think as a man, you probably don’t rate your chances of…of coping. So you do what comes naturally to you, which is take all the responsibility and focus on the situation.
“I’ve absolutely 100 per cent lost the ability to play but I think it’s something I need to regain. I think I need Freddie to show me, really.
“I need to get back to what I used to be. I’m sure that’s possible.”
