group dynamics, with tensions rising among cast members.
There’s plenty of speculation surrounding the fate of The Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ), but original cast member Teresa Giudice is sure of one thing: she’s not going anywhere. During a recent interview on LIVE with Kelly and Mark, host Kelly Rippa asked Giudice about her future with the franchise, given recent rumors that she may exit the series.
“Really? Who put those rumors out there? Maybe some of my cast members. No, I’m not leaving. I started the show and when Bravo wants me to leave, that’s when I’ll leave.”
Would Bravo ever ask Giudice (who has appeared on the franchise every season and starred in the network’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in 2021) to leave the series? Well, anything’s possible. Season 14 of RHONJ is still airing, but viewers have already witnessed several verbal arguments and one physical altercation…and there’s still that yet-to-air finale that The Real Housewives host and executive producer Andy Cohen likened to the Last Supper.

The internet’s newest sensation, Hailey Welch, is parlaying her fame into big bucks, but isn’t taking anything for granted along the way.
Given all the tension in the group, Cohen has said that a complete reboot “was an option.” During an appearance on Jeff Lewis’ podcast Jeff Lewis Has Issues, Cohen shared:
“When the stars don’t want to be in the same galaxy, that’s not sustainable.
I think there are four different ways that we could go with that show. And I think you could probably figure out what they are. We are going to let this season play out. We will all talk. We’ll do the focus group stuff. We’ll do all the stuff we do. And we’ll probably do a bunch of casting. And we’ll take our time.”
Is The Real Housewives of New Jersey Done With Teresa & Melissa?
Fans of RHONJ largely agree (at least on social media) that something needs to change. One of RHONJ‘s central conflicts for the last 12 seasons has revolved around Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. But this season, things are different: the women have yet to share any screen time.
During a recent interview, Gorga also agreed that the group, comprised of herself, Giudice, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda, needs a change:
“I agree with Bravo that there needs to be changes … I agree with that 100 percent. I think things have gotten really toxic.”
If any cast shakeups were to occur, it’s unlikely that Gorga and Giudice would both be included in the series’ next iteration. Giudice has been a mainstay since RHONJ‘s debut, while Gorga has also become a longtime fixture, initially appearing as a guest in season two before joining the main cast in season three. However, it’s worth mentioning that RHONJ took a hiatus when Giudice was incarcerated in 2015; this suggests that the show might be more willing to part ways with Gorga if cast changes are carried out. There is, of course, always the possibility of a whole new group of ladies, like The Real Housewives of New York‘s season 14 revamp.
