In a video posted to YouTube on Tuesday, Caroline Kennedy, the sole surviving child of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, read her letter to U.S. Senators in which she labeled her cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as a “predator.”
Caroline Kennedy sent the scathing letter to senators on Tuesday, just one day before his confirmation hearing as President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.
In the letter, Caroline Kennedy says Robert F. Kennedy’s actions “have cost lives.” Addressing committee leaders, the former ambassador to Australia urged senators to reject his nomination, accusing him of preying on the desperation of parents, sick children and even his own family members.
