Bexar County voters could be in for a wild Election Day on Tuesday — with local election officials projecting more than triple the number of in-person ballots cast than there were for the 2020 election.
Thanks to fewer days of early voting and fewer mail-in ballot applications, Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen said the county expects at least 275,000 voters on Election Day.
That’s compared to 84,000 in-person votes on Election Day in 2020, when COVID-19 precautions pushed many voter to cast their ballots early or through the mail.
Voters can choose from any of these 300-plus polling centers, all of which will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
The San Antonio Report crew will be roaming the county throughout the day to capture our community’s stories in this pivotal election.
