Carrie Coon and Shea Whigham might be two of the most underrated actors working today. Though they’ve both had standout work in big projects, they continue to fly under the radar for most people. But perhaps that will change with the upcoming film, “Lake George.”

As seen in the trailer, “Lake George” tells the story of a man down on his luck and tasked by a mobster to kill a woman. However, when he’s incapable of killing her, the unlikely duo end up teaming to steal money from the mobster. As you might expect, that’s when the shit hits the fan.
The film stars Shea Whigham, Carrie Coon, Max Casella, and Glenn Fleshler. “Lake George” is written and directed by Jeffrey Reiner. Reiner is probably best known for his TV work, having directed episodes of “The Affair” and “Fargo.”

Here’s the synopsis:
Tasked by mobsters with putting an end to Phyllis’ life, Don is unable to pull the trigger, and instead, the two set off on a road trip that evolves into something much more. Phyllis has designs of her own and proposes a little tag team action to Don: combine forces with the aim to steal all the money from the people who want her dead.
