As seen in the trailer for “V/H/S/BEYOND,” the seventh installment in the franchise follows the rules of the first six, as it showcases a variety of found footage shorts directed by some of the best up-and-coming directors in genre filmmaking. The footage in the trailer doesn’t give us much to go off of, in terms of plot, but it does seem to be just as crazy as you might expect from this franchise. There’s what looks like aliens, zombies, and some sort of terror for people going on a skydiving trip. Lots of variety, that’s for sure.
The directors chosen for this year’s anthology include Jordan Downey, Christian Long & Justin Long, Justin Martinez, Virat Pal, Kate Siegel, and Jay Cheel.
