UFC fighter Paulo Costa makes sickening sexist remark as he celebrates Donald Trump election win

UFC fighter Paulo Costa has come under fire after celebrating Donald Trump’s election victory over Kamala Harris with a vile sexist message on social media.

Trump completed one of the most astonishing political comebacks of all time earlier this week after trouncing Harris in the election to become only the second president in history to return for a non-consecutive second term.

In the wake of his resounding win, Costa – a former UFC Middleweight title contender – heaped praise on the 78-year-old for preventing America from having its first female president for a second time, after Harris suffered the same fate as Hillary Clinton in 2016.

And the Brazilian’s celebratory message also included a sickening remark about women being ‘only for sex’.

Alongside a photo of Trump, who is good friends with UFC President Dana White, Costa wrote on X: ‘Bro stopped America from having a female president TWICE. Woman only for sex, never forget it.’

On Instagram, the MMA star shared the same version of the post but with ‘let’s keep women at home’ replacing ‘woman only for sex’.

Fans were left stunned by Costa’s offensive statement, with one replying: ‘Remove this tweet bro’.

Another commented: ‘Disappointed and blocked’.

One furious user wrote: ‘Man, if I were you.. I’d shut the f*** up. Woman are only for sex? What would your mother say to that? You’re a s*** fighter and a s*** person. Respect the Mothers, Daughters & Sisters of the world you piece of s***’.

While a fourth asked him: ‘Is this supposed to be funny’.

Costa, whose last UFC outing ended in defeat against Sean Strickland over the summer, was accused of assaulting a female nurse in 2022 amid a dispute over Covid-19.

The 33-year-old allegedly struck the nurse after she refused him an immunization card for the COVID-19 vaccine, although charges were never filed.

Costa claimed he had ‘facts and proof that this accusation is false, that it was an attempt to harm me.’
