Vehicle loaded with chemicals explodes on quiet NYC street in massive fireball, leaving neighbors horrified

A plumbing truck burst into flames on a quiet residential street in Queens Friday morning – damaging six homes and two other cars, according to fire officials and sources.

The truck burst into bright orange flames while parked outside of 131-16 133 Street around 6:45 a.m..

Videos of the incident showed shocked residents gathering down the block to get a look at the chaos.

The explosion is believed to have been caused by chemicals and an unsecured torch inside the track officials said.

There were no reported injuries.

The incident is under investigation by the FDNY Fire Marshals, along with the NYPD.
