What is All Blacks’ biggest winning margin, and record score against the Wallabies, in Bledisloe Cup Test history?



The All Blacks and Australia resumed Bledisloe Cup conflict at Accord Stadium on Saturday with the Wallabies coming off a record defeat to Argentina in their previous Test match.

The All Blacks got off to a storming start, scoring the first try in just 92 seconds through Will Jordan.

The New Zealanders continued to punish the Wallabies’ errors leaving fans wondering what the biggest winning margin and record score is in rugby Tests between the two teams.

Biggest winning margin: The All Blacks set the record of a 38 point margin in October 2021 at the same stadium.

New Zealand’s Richie Mo’unga bagged a try double and a 23-point personal haul for the All Blacks. In encouraging news for Australia, they were able to beat the All Blacks 24-22 one week later.

Australia’s biggest winning margin and most points came in the same game – a 47-26 win in 2019.

Biggest scores: The All Blacks’ record total in a Test against the Wallabies is 54 set in a 54-34 win, also at the former Olympic Stadium, in 2017.

Most aggregate points: 88 (Australia 34–54 New Zealand) on August 19, 2017.
