The draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup takes place tonight.
A host of Premier League teams will enter the competition at this stage after first-round upsets put Fleetwood, Harrogate and Colchester in the hat for a potentially plum tie.
The top-flight clubs not competing in Europe will be placed into the regional draw, divided into a northern and southern section.
Newcastle, West Ham, Fulham, Everton and Crystal Palace are among the teams involved while Luton and Burnley off the Championship enter here after a first-round bye.
When is the Carabao Cup draw?
The draw will take place today, Wednesday August 14, 2024. It is set to start shortly after the conclusion of Leeds’ tie with Middlesbrough, which is expected to be around 10pm BST unless that game goes to penalties.
