Character: Loretta Sage is a renowned romance novelist whose books are best-sellers even though she is becoming less interested in the genre. Following the death of her husband, she finds that she is losing a lot of her adventurous spirit that inspires her stories. However, being forced on this treasure hunt actually works to reignite those feelings. Though she is out of her element in the jungle, she proves herself more capable and strong than she ever imagined.

Character: Alan Caprison is a dim-witted model who has managed to earn his own iconic status as the model used on the cover of Loretta’s romance-adventure novels, playing her fictional character of Dash McMahon from her books. After Loretta is captured, Alan takes it upon himself to rescue her. He takes to his role as the face of Loretta’s books quite well, and while Loretta herself sees him as a joke, Alan insists he enjoys making her fans happy.

Character: Abigail Fairfax is a billionaire and criminal who kidnaps Loretta in a bid to find the lost city that she wrote about in her books. Though he acts as a polite and eager fan at first, Fairfax proves that he is more ruthless and villainous than he lets on. He is an excessively wealthy man who feels as though he has the power to get whatever he wants, but he still wants to have more which fuels his hunt for this supposed lost treasure.

After playing the iconic boy wizard over the course of a decade, Radcliffe has been building an exceptional career outside of the franchise. As Beth

Character: Beth is Loretta Sage’s book publicist and close confidante who is actually one of the most competent people amid this massive mess. She is hard on Loretta for her lack of engagement with her fans as well as her slow progress on her latest book. However, when Loretta is kidnapped, Beth jumps into action and even goes after her herself.

Actor: Da’Vine Joy Randolph is an Oscar-winning actor thanks to her breakout role in the comedy-drama The Holdovers. However, she has built a strong career before that as she starred alongside Eddie Murphy in Dolemite is My Name and has played Detective Donna Williams in every season of Only Murders in the Buildings. She will next be seen alongside Brian Tyree Henry and Janelle Monáe in Atlantis and with Elizabeth Olsen and Miles Teller in Eternity.

Brad Pitt

As Jack Trainer

Character: Jack Trainer is a former Navy SEAL who Alan calls on to help. Unlike Alan, Trainer is the perfect person for the job and quickly locates Loretta while taking out several of the bad guys. Unfortunately for Loretta and Alan, Trainer makes an unexpected early exit from the movie. It makes for one of the biggest surprises in the movie and makes the casting of an A-list actor in the role all the more effective.

Patti Harrison as Allison – Allison is Loretta’s social media manager, which is something Loretta has no interest in. Allison is often unhelpful with the more serious situation Loretta finds herself in and is relegated to looking after Beth’s Nana (Joan Pringle). Patti Harrison is best known for her turns in Together Together, Shrill, A Simple Favor, and Raya and the Last Dragon. She has also earned plenty of fans through her appearances in the sketch show I Think You Should Leave.

Oscar Nuñez as Randy – Randy is a cargo plane pilot who aids with the mission to the lost city. Oscar Nuñez is most famous for playing Oscar Martinez in The Office. He’s also been in The Proposal, the Baywatch remake, Mr. Iglesias, People of Earth, and The Italian Job.

Héctor Aníbal as Rafi – Rafi is one of Abigail Fairfax’s henchmen in The Lost City. Héctor Aníbal has appeared in xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Sugar Fields.

Thomas Forbes-Johnson as Julian – Julian is also one of Abigail Fairfax’s henchmen. Thomas Forbes-Johnson has been a stuntman in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Forever Purge, and A Quiet Place Part II.
